Seaside home transformed

I prepared all of the designs and obtained the necessary consents from the local authority for this project. The completed project, as you can see, is fabulous, and almost unrecognisable from  the original dwelling. The owners are delighted and rightly proud of their new home. They love the feeling of light, the views obtained and the spaciousness of this small dwelling.

The living accommodation is more than doubled in size and also incorporates a very practical utility room and ground floor shower room in the centre of the dwelling to maximise space.

The views enjoyed by opening up this property are enjoyed all year round. The kitchen incorporates bespoke units and forms a functional but beautiful space. The reading room to the front utilises every last space for storage whilst retaining the original character of the property.

The new rooms are beautiful and usable all year round. The quality of light is fantastic. The first floor was totally transformed with a new staircase installed in a completely different location accessing two bedrooms, both with en suites.

Light was also gained via light tunnels to gain additional natural light into the back of the bedrooms with reclaimed light fittings for use in the evenings.

Below you can see the rear of the property as it existed before the conservatory was removed and the new extension added. The property has been transformed beyond recognition and is now a fabulous home.
